London Conchord Ensemble with guest artist, Robin Tritchler, made a stunning BBC Proms debut on Monday at a sold-out Cadogan Hall.  The programme included the Poulenc Sextet for piano and wind, a work which the ensemble are now synonymous with having recorded all of Poulenc's chamber music and played the sextet in particular to enormous acclaim throughout the UK, Europe and America.  They also performed Imogen Holst's Phantasy String Quartet, Warlock's devastating beautiful song cycle 'The Curlew' and Ades' wonderful and eclectic arrangement of Couperin's Les barricades misterieuses.

It was a delight to hear such an energetic group as the London Conchord Ensemble explore these examples of emotionally-varied and -mostly - early 20th century music.  I look forward to my next opportunity to hear them again' Philip May,  Backtrack, Aug 2013

Chandos has just released a new CD with works by Lutoslawski featuring the BBC Symphony Orchestra/Edward Gardner and Tasmin Little playing Partita and Chain 2.

"The BBC SO and Edward Gardner, in the latest of this excellent series, capture the range of moods eloquently. They’re joined by Tasmin Little, a powerful soloist in Partita and Chain 2. The Polish composer, neglected of late, wholly deserves this attention in his centenary year.” Fiona Maddocks The Observer

"Partita and Chain 2, two 1980s violin concertos noted for their expressive intensity, a quality matched by Tasmin Little’s performances". Andrew Clarke Financial Times

Tasmin-Little-pianis---Piers-LaneTasmin Little

Tasmin and pianist, Piers Lane have recorded a new CD of Violin Sonatas by Strauss and Respighi which was released by Chandos Records in February.

"Both sonatas are played here with complete understanding and spontaneity, and bring moments of musical virtuosity.  Piers Lane is a first-class pianist and forms a fine partnership with Tasmin Little , whose tone is caught with great beauty, for the Chandos recording is completely real and naturally balanced"  Ivan March, Gramophone Review, February 2013

"Tasmin Little and Piers Lane turn in one of the most satisfying performances I've heard. Their judicious choice of tempos allows the music to breathe naturally.  They also display an intense sympathy with Strauss's melodic style, especially in their delicate and atmospheric account of the slow movement"   - BBC Music Chamber Choice, Calum MacDonald, BBC Music Magazine, February 2013
