The Delius anniversary year continues for cellist, Thomas Carroll with a recital in Bradford Cathedral on 22 June. Thomas is related to Frederick Delius' and this special recital journey has taken him from Bradford, Delius' birthplace to Limpsfield, Delius' final resting place.

Huge congratulations to Anthony Hewitt who has completed his Olympian piano and cycle journey from Land's End to John O'Groats. 22 recitals in 21 days, raising in excess of £13,000 for charity was no mean feat. Anthony, we salute you and we thank all of those presenters throughout Great Britain who supported this extraordinary project.

Marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of the composer Frederick Delius, Thomas Carroll gave a recital at the Oxted & Limpsfield Society in February.  Earlier that day, on the invitation of the music society, Thomas laid a wreath on Delius' grave in St Peter Churchyard in Limpsfield, Surrey, a particularly poignant moment for Thomas as he and the composer share the same great great great...grandfather.
