Conchord at Eton

London Conchord Ensemble is working with Eton College to establish an innovative chamber music series which brings world-class chamber music to the community of Windsor and Eton and also the highest quality of chamber music tuition to the students at the school . The first concert took place on 22 January 2011 and the ensemble were delighted to spend the afternoon giving a workshop on Mendelssohn Piano Trio no.1 in D minor to the students and to perform to a full house later that evening. The evening performance is preceded by a talk by the ensemble on the programme to be performed.

Cellist Jonathan Swensen wins 1st Prize at the 2019 Windsor Festival International String Competition.

We are delighted to announce that cellist, Jonathan Swensen won 1st Prize at the 2019 Windsor Festival International String Competition. 2nd Prize was awarded to cellist Jamal Aliyev and 3rd Prize to violinist, Mathilde Milwidsky.
